2.  PHYSICAL/MENTAL/SPIRITUAL HEALTH

As part of our holistic approach to developing healthy young women, G.L.O.W. will engage our mentees in physical and cognitive exercises.  Our physical activities will include sports, yoga, and other exercises designed to build muscle and promote growth.  Our cognitive activities will include tutoring in traditional courses as well as engaging conversations on spirituality.

3.  PARENTAL SUPPORT

G.L.O.W. is an extension of each mentees natural family.  We understand the importance of a healthy family relationship and will encourage and support family bonds.

4.  LIFE SKILLS

"Where school ends, Life skills begin."  G.L.O.W. recognizes the fact that school doesn't always prepare our young ladies to face life on life's terms, so we stand in the gaps.  Our young mentees will be taught everything from proper hygiene to how to carry yourself on dates and every other life lessons learned by our mentors.  Our goal is to pass on the wisdom, born of experiences from our mentors to each mentee so they do not have to repeat the mistakes of our families and mentors.

5.  COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Each mentee will be required to volunteer in their respective communities.  Our volunteer program is deigned to allow our young ladies to help others as well as experience the rewards of contributing to their own community.
